PlotManagement was born in Nairobi in 2020 out of frustration with the fragmented, opaque property rental market. Tenants were scammed, landlords struggled with management, and there was no single trusted platform for everyone.

Today we serve over 8,000 tenants and 1,200 landlords across all 47 counties. From Nairobi's high-rise apartments to Kisumu's lakeside cottages and Mombasa's beachfront hotels — we list it all.

For Tenants

Tenant Questions

How do I create a tenant account?
Click "Get Started" and fill in your basic details. You'll receive a verification email. Once verified, you can browse, book viewings and apply for properties.
Are all properties verified?
Yes. All properties go through our verification process before being listed. We physically inspect listings in major cities and use document verification for other areas.
How do I pay rent through the platform?
You can pay via M-Pesa, bank transfer or debit/credit card. Payments are processed securely and receipts are generated automatically.
Can I negotiate rent with the landlord?
Yes — you can message the landlord directly through our chat feature. All negotiations and agreements are documented on the platform.
What happens if I want to move out early?
Submit a move-out notice through your dashboard at least 30 days before your intended move-out date. Your landlord will be notified and the process will be guided step by step.

Landlord Questions

How do I list my property?
Sign up as a landlord, go to your dashboard and click "Add Property". Fill in the details, upload photos and your listing goes live after verification — usually within 24 hours.
What are the listing fees?
Basic listings are free. Our Business plan at Ksh 4,999/month includes unlimited listings, advanced analytics and priority support. See our Pricing page for full details.
How are tenants screened?
All tenants must verify their identity and employment status before applying. You can also request additional documents through the platform.
Can I manage multiple units?
Yes. The Business plan lets you manage unlimited properties from a single dashboard with individual unit-level tracking for payments, maintenance and leases.
How does rent collection work?
Tenants pay through the platform via M-Pesa or bank transfer. Funds are deposited directly to your account. You get instant notifications and a complete payment history.
